Flammkuchen with Looye JOYN tomatoes

Easy to prepare and adaptable! You can top Flammkuchen with anything you like. In this recipe, we use the (original) ingredients: crème fraîche, bacon and onion. Needless to say, we added some Looye JOYN tomatoes as well.

I want to make


    1. Peel and finely chop the onions.

    2. Fry the bacon cubes, add the finely chopped onion and fry until golden brown.

    3. Slice the Looye JOYN tomatoes.


    1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.

    2. Roll out the fresh Flammkuchen dough with the supplied baking paper on a baking tray. Fold the edge of the dough about 1 cm (½ in.) inwards and press down firmly.

    3. Spread the crème fraîche all over the dough, up to the edges.

    4. Divide the Looye JOYN tomato slices evenly over the crème fraîche, then top them with the fried bacon and onion mixture.

    5. Bake the Flammkuchen in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

    6. Pick the basil leaves from the sprigs. Divide them over the Flammkuchen and drizzle with olive oil.

    7. Season with salt and pepper.
